Policy Brief » Identifying and Promoting Innovations
By UNESCO
The policy brief provides insights on the importance of innovative practice in the education system in creating meaningful learning experiences for learners. By encouraging creativity and establishing connections with learners’ social, economic, and cultural practices, learners are given spaces to think about their purpose of learning. Nevertheless, several obstacles to implementing innovative practices are identified and explained. To address these challenges, innovative practices in the classroom can be promoted by providing solid facts and evidence for practices, providing opportunities for dialogue and practice sharing, ensuring up-to-date data and policy planning. With these policy recommendations, stakeholders are better equipped in providing purposeful and personalized learning experiences for learners.
