Transform.Ed Briefing #56
Inside the Briefing: Leading the Age of AI - student empowerment, and value-based decision-making!
Going beyond the discussions on the impact of AI in teaching and learning, the major hurdle lies in leading the integration of AI and education. Education leadership can be at the forefront of this change to make education more individualized, equitable, and inclusive.
Last week, we asked our readers about the challenges education leaders face in incorporating AI into their practices. The responses were evenly divided between the rapid evolution of technology and insufficient training in AI. Other challenges shadowing the future of education in the age of AI include the possibility of algorithmic bias, privacy, and ethical considerations.
As we move forward, an amalgamation of value-based decision-making and AI-based data-driven approach can help us bridge the gap. In the midst of looming concerns, what steps should the education leaders take to ensure that the AI integration is ethical and effective.
